Not receiving the second half of long(>160 char) messages

This has been going on for probably about 3 or 4 months now. I first noticed it from some friends that are ATT iphone customers but I recently noticed it from tmobile blackberry users too. If they try to send me a long text(>160 char) only the first message comes through. It used to be that I would get 2 messages with everything beyond the first 160 characters coming through in a second message shortly after the first. My current phone is the Thunderbolt. Anyone have any suggestions or advice?

i have the same prob... only with att users.. HELP! its so annoying lol
